Three distinct film products. Each serves a different purpose. Understanding the difference helps you choose what you actually want — not just what sounds good.

Included in Timeless

The Highlight Film

3–5 minutes

A fast, shareable cut of the wedding's key moments. Think of it as the trailer — beautifully edited, easy to send to family and post to social. It moves quickly by design. Great for couples who primarily want something to share.

Included in Heirloom & Legacy

The Wedding Film

6–8 minutes

This is our core product. Long enough to breathe, intimate enough to feel like yours. The Wedding Film captures the ceremony, the vows, the quiet moments between the big ones — edited cinematically with intentional pacing and score. The film you will watch on your anniversary.

Add-on — quoted per project

The Full Ceremony Edit

Uncut · length varies by ceremony

A complete, unedited documentary record of your ceremony from first word to last. No cuts, no condensing — every vow, every prayer, every moment as it happened. This is a preservation piece, not a cinematic edit. Priced per project based on expected ceremony length and complexity. Ideal for couples with extended, multi-ceremony, or culturally significant ceremonies they want documented in full.

Build the experience you want. Every add-on below can be paired with any tier.

Coverage hours

Day structure & late night rates

Standard coverage concludes at or before 9–10pm and does not exceed a 10-hour day as standard practice. Extended hours are available at tiered rates: $300/hr for hours beyond a 10-hour day, and $375/hr for any coverage after 10pm. Late-night footage is often unusable in the final edit — we are always transparent about this so you can make an informed call on extended coverage.

Delivery

Turnaround time

Our standard turnaround is 30 days or less from the wedding date. Industry average is 60–90 days. We hold ourselves to faster — because you should not be waiting months to see your day. Rush delivery may be available on request for an additional fee.

Creative process

Revisions & collaboration

Every project begins with a first cut delivered for your review. Heirloom includes one revision round; Legacy includes two revision rounds. A revision round is defined as one new render or refreshed deliverable. Once a revision request is submitted, that round is closed — consolidate all notes before submitting. Revision turnaround is scheduled at the team's discretion. Additional rounds are available at $220 per round.

Portfolio & privacy

Usage rights & content consent

By signing your agreement, you grant Seashell Weddings the right to use excerpts from your film for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes. We handle your story with care — we are not in the business of oversharing. Partial restrictions are available at no charge (e.g. no social posting, website-only use, no full names). Full exclusivity — complete removal of all usage rights — is available for a flat fee of $400, added to your agreement. This fee reflects the genuine business value of the work we produce together.

Travel

Destination & travel fees

We are based in Central Florida. Local and regional travel within the greater Orlando area is included in our standard pricing. Weddings beyond the region are welcome — travel, accommodation, and logistics are quoted on a per-project basis and itemized clearly in your proposal.

Crew

The Seashell Team

Our full team includes a Creative Director (leads the vision and overall production), a Lead Cinematographer (primary camera, ceremony, and key moments), a Story Gatherer (second camera, guest interviews, candid coverage), and a Day-of Coordinator (logistics, timeline, and crew support). The full team is included in the Legacy tier. Individual roles are available as add-ons for Timeless and Heirloom.

Creative direction

Your approach, your choice

We work in two modes and you choose: Fly on the Wall — we stay present but invisible, capturing your day as it naturally unfolds without direction or interruption. Or Collaborative Director — we take an active role, guiding moments, directing brief setups, and working with you to capture the shots that will make the film extraordinary. Neither is better. Both produce beautiful work. We discuss your preference at our first meeting.

Booking

Retainer & payment

A 35% non-refundable retainer is required upon signing your agreement to secure your date. The retainer is applied toward your total balance. Remaining balance is due prior to your wedding day. Dates are not held without a signed contract and received retainer.

Extended shoots

Meals & crew care

For any shoot exceeding 6 hours, the client is required to provide a meal and non-alcoholic beverages for the crew. This is standard industry practice and is written into every contract. We are on our feet all day — a fed crew is a focused crew, and it shows in your film.

Every wedding is bespoke. Here is what the process looks like from first conversation to final film.

Step 1

Discovery call

We meet you and learn about your day — the venue, the timeline, the feel you want. We also discuss your preferred filming approach: Fly on the Wall or Collaborative Director. No obligation. Just a conversation.

Step 2

Custom proposal

We build an itemized quote based on your specific day. You see every line item — no surprises. You choose what to include, what to remove, and what to ask about.

Step 3

Contract & booking

Once you're ready, we send a contract and secure your date with a retainer. We handle all the details from there — venue coordination, timeline review, crew planning.

Step 4

Your wedding day

We arrive early, we stay present, we stay out of the way unless the shot demands otherwise. We treat your day with the care it deserves — as filmmakers, not just vendors.

Step 5

Post-production

We edit, score, color, and refine. You receive your first cut within 30 days. We incorporate your notes and deliver the final film — ready to watch, ready to share, ready to keep forever.

Always

Communication

We respond promptly, communicate clearly, and never leave you wondering. If something changes on your end, tell us early — we are flexible and on your side.

Every wedding is unique. Reach out and we will build a package that fits your day perfectly.
